[ Zach Lazarus ]

When entering college at the University of Arizona in August of 2016, I wanted to be a special education teacher. My love for sports had always been a passion and hobby of mine but I hadn't given making a career out of it any thought.

It was because of my exceptional public speaking skills that one of my professors told me I should get into broadcast journalism. My second semester of college I decided to give it a try and the rest is history. My passion for sports and public speaking really transpires through my work and I hope to continue to connect with people through my broadcasting, radio, and voiceover assignments.

As a recent graduate Class of 2020, I am ready to hit the ground running and put my journalism skill set to the test.
